Petz 4

ratings: 5/10, a perfectly good classic virtual pet game, considering that Petz is the very first computer game released to center its gameplay around caring for animals like cats and dogs, it's very barebones in it's mechanics and eventually will get boring after around an hour of play, what really brings this game together though is it's long-standing fan community that has figured out how to make pretty much any character or idea real as a pet just through some simple coding. Petz by itself is a 5/10, but the community is a near perfect 10/10.

Horses of hoofprint bay

ratings: 9/10, (NOTE: i have only played the demo so far, so the rating may change once the full game releases). This game is what i've dreamed for when it comes to horse games, simple yet pretty art, no overly complicated genetics or menus, and gameplay that has a satisfying loop. My one wish when the full game comes out though is more optional support when it comes competitions (such as a visual telling you when to jump), and possibly the ability to hire people that can do riding lessons for you. Also i would like to have mules and donkeys but that's just my personal bias and love for them speaking.
